I'd have to agree with the opinion the photography is what you see through the camera and digital imaging is what you do to the pictures to edit them. Though I also believe photography is also having the photos somewhat edited so that he can have the best piece of work you can. Imaging definitely does do more to your pictures than just full out taking a simple photo.
